PossibleNOW CEO Meets With FCC Chairman At Jobs4America Launch
DULUTH, GA - August 4, 2011 - Scott Frey, President & CEO of PossibleNOW, the leading provider of compliance and marketing solutions for direct marketers, was personally invited to meet today with the Federal Communications Commission Chairman, Julius Genachowski, at the launch of Jobs4America in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Jobs4America is a coalition of call center companies that announced plans to create 100,000 new broadband-enabled call jobs over the next two years in the United States.
Genachowski’s speech explained the significant impact that broadband technology has had on business and in particular, the call center industry. He applauded the efforts of the American Teleservices Association and the call center companies that are working to bring jobs back to the United States from overseas.
Frey joined a select group of business leaders who had one-on-one meetings with Genachowski. Frey discussed how PossibleNOW’s technology solutions and professional services have helped direct marketers effectively comply with Do Not Contact regulations for more than ten years.
“I am pleased to see that the FCC has a business-friendly attitude and does not want to overregulate to the degree that it hinders a business’s ability to communicate with its customers and prospects. PossibleNOW is committed to job growth and is proud that we maintain a US-based workforce,” explains Frey. “We have never outsourced any of our development work.”
Frey continues, “PossibleNOW also recognizes the importance of enabling consumers to communicate their contact preferences to businesses. We recently launched a cloud-based solution, MyPreferences, which consolidates the collection, management and reporting of consumer preferences from the entire enterprise into a centralized system that can work seamlessly with a company’s customer relationship management system. This helps marketers maximize the value in multi-channel marketing while still ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.”
PossibleNOW is a Platinum member of the American Teleservices Association and active in the organization.
